We define LOVE as a universal, generative, transformative power that creates trust, activates purpose, enables choice, and shifts the way we engage with our environment.

What is an Upward Spiral?

An omni-considerate interaction. When we value ourselves, each other and the planet in our choices and actions, the interaction becomes generative for the whole and positive energy is created. All life benefits from an Upward Spiral.

What is a Heartist?

A Heartist is someone who lives and creates from love. Different from an artist to whom we ascribe a certain level of proficiency, talent or technique, a Heartist is much more about vibration than vocation.

Along the lines of Joseph Campbell’s work, the Heartist is a blend of the artist, the lover and the creator. Less about what you’re doing and more about who you are being as you do it. You know you’re in your Heartistry when you are lit up, turned on and available for love to move through you.

We believe that there is room for new archetypes on the planet. Ones that live inside of us that we can use as guides to know when we are choosing love over fear, compassion over judgment and empathy over apathy.

How can I get involved?

Upward Spirals is in its foundational year and we are bursting at the seams with opportunities. Over this next year we’ll be focusing on building our capacity, our team and our reach to bring these epic stories and programs to wider audiences.
